Fine Art Store: Custom Prints by Dr. Joe Ventura
Over the past decade, Dr. Joe Ventura of
Overland Park Kansas has created almost 1000 unique pieces of fine anatomy art.
These paintings have now been digitally reproduced and are available for
purchase. The collection is divided into the following sections: Atlas,
Thoracic, Lumbar, Full Spine, Pelvis, Torso, Instrument of Life, Healing Hands,
Palpation, CNS, Fighting Sets, Tooth and Miscellaneous. Prints are available in
24”x36” on glossy photo stock or on museum quality canvas known as a Giclee (Zee
Clay)print. When printed on canvas it looks like the original painting. All
prints are signed by Dr. Ventura.
Dr. Ventura uses a very unique and secret
painting style. This method allows for the creation of multiple paintings
following a similar theme but very different looks. “While the style is uniquely
mine, I wanted to create art that could match the personality of any office or
home décor from patriotic to Goth and everything in between. Some pieces are
pretty straightforward and some are fanciful in that you have to look hard to
see the anatomy” says Ventura.
Always the artist, Dr. Ventura even oversees the
printing of every job. As Ventura states, “I control the entire process. This
ensures that the final print is an exact reproduction of the original. It’s
funny that my first real job was as a printer for Hallmark Cards and here I am
thirty years later full circle as a printer again. But believe me, this is more
fun.”
All artwork is priced at $99 for a glossy print
and $199 on canvas, plus shipping to anywhere in the world.
